Coca Sek Coca Sek is a carbonated beverage that the Páez people of south-western Colombia began selling in December of 2005. The drink is based on coca leaves, which native Colombian peoples have been consuming for centuries. The drink is cider-colored and smells like tea. Its taste is described as a mixture of lemonade and ginger ale.〔Brodzinsky, Sibylla. ("Colombia's Indians bank on coca drink becoming the real thing" ), The Guardian, 14 December 2005. Retrieved 26 June 2013.〕 In May 2007, Colombia started to remove Coca Sek forcibly from supermarket shelves, although it's still possible to find it in health food stores.〔(Coca-Cola Vs Coca Sek in Colombia - By SERGIO DE LEON, May 10, 2007 ), Associated Press〕 ==References==
